The Scoop
The Koreatown original is on West 6th in Wilshire Center, and it is small: two or three tables and a counter, built for stop-and-go. This is where the Vienna latte got its reputation, and the line out the door on a weekday morning is the evidence. The Vienna Matcha is the one we order, freshly whisked with matcha under the house cream. The current matcha board includes Vienna Matcha, Matcha Latte, Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte, Rose Matcha, and Matcha Tea. Staff keep smiling through the rush, which is its own kind of achievement at eight in the morning. We would come early, take it outside, and walk it down 6th.
