Layla's third shop opened on South Barrington Avenue, where chef Sammi Tarantino built it as a fully electric kitchen. It joins a stretch of Brentwood that has quietly filled with bagels. The current matcha menu matches Ocean Park and Beverly Hills: Pear Matcha, Strawberry Matcha Latte, Cream Top Matcha, and a plain Matcha Latte served hot or iced. The Strawberry Special pairs a strawberry bagel with whipped white peach cream cheese and strawberry topping.
