Goodboybob opened on Venice Boulevard in July 2026 inside the Deus Ex Machina building, sharing the room with a store built around motorcycles and surfing. It is the newest of the LA shops and the only one that lives inside somebody else’s space. Erich Joiner kept the room almost as he found it: the concrete bar, white wall tile and repurposed wood stayed, with high-top tables and patio umbrellas added. The matcha board matches the other Southern California cafes, including Volcanic Matcha, Yuzu Matcha Tonic, Blueberry Pie Iced Matcha, and plain hot and iced lattes.
