The Hollywood Couplet sits on Hollywood Boulevard, which puts the brand's color in front of a very different crowd from the Echo Park flagship. The Kagoshima matcha anchors the current program, bananas-and-cream included, and the coffee runs the same Peruvian single origin and house blend as the rest of the group. Hollywood Boulevard is not short of foot traffic, so this room stays busy and the queue moves. It works best as a pick-up. We would take the matcha and walk east toward the quieter end of the boulevard away from the crowds outside the theatres.
