The Scoop
Alfred's Coldwater cafe sits where Ventura Boulevard meets the canyon road, opening at 6:30 am. It is the second of two Alfreds in Studio City, the other being the Ventura Place room a few minutes west. Having a choice of two Alfreds inside one neighborhood is a luxury we did not expect from the Valley. This is the one to use if you are heading over Coldwater Canyon and want the cup before the climb. The current menu includes seasonal pumpkin-spice matcha, Matchaga, and strawberry and lavender matcha lattes.
