The Scoop
Alfred is on West Colorado Boulevard in Old Pasadena, a few doors from the stretch that fills up on a Saturday. It opens at 7 am, the latest start of any Alfred in Los Angeles, which tells you something about how Old Pasadena wakes up. This is the Alfred we would send a matcha drinker to for a sit-down afternoon. Old Pasadena rewards walking, and Colorado Boulevard has enough around it to fill a few hours. The current menu includes seasonal pumpkin-spice matcha, Matchaga, and strawberry and lavender matcha lattes.
