Motoring Coffee

Motoring Coffee is the car enthusiast's coffee label, born as a fuel service for a private members garage and now open to anyone who wants to park up and look at the cars. The first cafe opened in West Los Angeles in March 2023, inside a 20,000 square foot reclaimed bow truss warehouse with a rotating display of vehicles and a view straight into The Motoring Club. The matcha comes from Nekohama, which is the detail we would lead with for anyone reading this guide. It turns up as a straight 12 ounce matcha tea and as a 12 ounce matcha latte, and there is no upcharge for alternative milk anywhere on the menu. Pastries and breakfast sandwiches come from Farmshop in Los Angeles and Saltwater in San Francisco. A second cafe followed in San Francisco, set inside a historic art deco warehouse in Cow Hollow, at the Union and Van Ness crossroads, carrying a small footprint of the members club. Both rooms are cashless, both keep specials rotating behind the counter, and the house line is brewed for a life in motion.
