The Scoop
Quat LA is the Kumquat and Loquat family's Glassell Park compound: a cafe, roastery, retail room, courtyard, and Atelier Q tasting space at one address. The cafe is intentionally compact, while the courtyard carries most of the seating. Floor-to-ceiling windows expose the roasting room, and the separate retail side holds rotating beans and brewing equipment. This is the group's operational home rather than another copy of the York Boulevard shop. The official Kumquat site lists it alongside the original Highland Park and DTLA locations.
