Anko is a dessert cafe at Fourth and Western in Koreatown, with a bright dining room and a menu built around Korean shaved ice, tea and coffee. The matcha list has four choices: a hot-or-iced latte lightly sweetened with agave, a cream-topped Matcha Cloud, a Strawberry Matcha, and Matcha Shaved Ice. Anko is closed Wednesday and open from 10 AM to 9 PM Thursday through Tuesday. For a drink, the Matcha Cloud is the more dessert-forward choice; the shaved ice is the reason to stay at a table.
